About Suzanne
I first became seriously interested in photography when I went to work for a company that made educational audio-visual materials . The staff photographer helped me buy a Graflex 35mm camera for $35 and on a trip to New York and Washington D.C. I shot hundreds of Kodachrome slides that I'm still rather proud of. In the 70s I studied with John Sexton and worked extensively in the large format black & white style of Ansel Adams. Now in my senior years I am using mostly digital and feel assured that in the process of trying to master (if that's at all possible) Photoshop and related software, my aging brain is getting plenty of exercise. Favorite Photographers: Michael Kenna, Joel Meyerowitz, Ernst Haas, David Plowden, Lilo Raymond, Robert Frank, John Sexton.
