EYES WIDE SHUT from The library of my soul, United KingdomI have in the past, suffered dreams involving giant red Octupuss's flying high over my house...... quite often after a night of drunken debauchery out on the London club scene Ha ha Wild and whacky, Suzanne, and also rather spectacular 15 Jan 2009 5:30am standley from Carquefou, FranceQuite a spectacular image very nicely composed Suzanne. I like the vibrant colours! 15 Jan 2009 5:55am john4jack from Corvallis, United StatesI love that structure; it is perfectly positioned. And the kite (is it a kite??) is marvelous. Such vibrant reds. 15 Jan 2009 6:53am @john4jack: It is a kite. The woman flying it told me that she bought it off a street vendor in Beijing. It's made of pure silk. Scott Schilling from San Martin, United StatesGreat color and I really like this composition - the red really adds to the appeal and the image is fun to look at and makes me smile - Nice Work!! 15 Jan 2009 7:12am zahai from Berlin, GermanyWonderful capture. It gives it a different perspective. 15 Jan 2009 1:45pm Don Wiley from spokane, United StatesI like the striking reds in this colorful and impressive shot. The composition works very well. A fine image. 15 Jan 2009 2:52pm hugo poon from hong kong, Hong KongWhat a lovely amusing catch! Hard not to get drawn in to such a vibrant image. 15 Jan 2009 11:08pm amy from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaSuch a great pov for this! Very unusual and unexpected. I love it! 16 Jan 2009 3:08am PD from Overland Park, Kansas, United StatesGreat picture! I have never seen an octopus kite before! 16 Jan 2009 3:41am Emilio Garcia from Pleasanton, United StatesGreat composition and the angle of the shot is very interesting. It is too bad you cannot see the line leading to the handsome and colorful kite, it would add just the perfect touch (as is, it almost seems as "pasted" there). I am so surprised that this Asian-like structure is found at the Port of Los Angeles. 16 Jan 2009 5:29am |
