I Love L. A.Posted by Suzanne (Huntington Bch, California, United States) on 16 January 2009 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them. -- Elliott Erwitt ------------------------------------------------------------- View from east Los Angeles, California ------------------------------------------------------------- I will be out of town until Sunday and will try to catch up with looking at all your new images when I return. Have a great weekend. If you like my photos, please take a moment to leave a rating on VFXY. Just click on the link below. Thank you, Suzanne

Emilio Garcia from Pleasanton, United StatesGreat urban landscape shot. I love the contrast between the older, East LA, and the modern skyline. It tells you loads about this vibrant city. 16 Jan 2009 5:21am PeterFH from Gothenburg, SwedenGreat shot, it looks like two completely different cities. I agree with your title and truly look forward to any chance I get to be in 'The Southland' regions, in and around LA. Having said this - and with no disrespect; I am a San Francisco Giants fan and we're approaching that magic time when catchers and pitchers report. Hence, I must report that, "L.A. Sucks!" 16 Jan 2009 6:59pm dogilicious from Millerstown, PA, United StatesWho sang that song? whoever it was its he last time I heard that said out loud. IThis is a great shot. Always nice to get a good shot from this angle. And the contrast is good, as others have commented. (I work in one the buildings pictured, so I know that's not fog, but I won't ruin it for all the out of town viewers.) 25 Jan 2009 11:21pm VEERLE TIJTGAT from Harelbeke, Belgiumloving the colors, and such a great detail, very nice contrast also 4 Feb 2009 8:09pm |
