Usually I think if there is something imperfect in a photograph it makes the picture more real. Photographs that are slick, smooth, and perfect seem less honest to me. -- John Loengard

A tree like a human silhouette bent too many years, a tree carved wind, a lonely red hair, a beautiful image where the colors red and green combine in harmony, it is a beautiful picture full of atmosphere almost oppressive.

Don't you love it when you find this kind of beauty? I'm trying to determine if that is the colour of the leaves or if it's the setting sun that is giving that amazing cast on the tree ... either way it is stunning. Beautiful composition.

@JH: Quite a bit, actually. I took out parts of another tree that was poking in along the left side and I removed a little sign. Color is just the like the original although I've discovered that I need to up the contrast and darken my images to look right on this blog.
