In the Pink

This is the very last of my winter Big Bear photos. I took this on the same afternoon that I made the sunset images. While I was waiting for the sun to get just right, I walked around taking macros of the chaparral or whatever the name of the sage type bushes along the shore. It's amazing what sunlight will do to alter a vision. The blue in the background is actually snow and the shrubs are a reddish brown color...not pink. It was rather breezy at the time and with the fading light, I was never quite sure if anything would be in focus. I think it looks quite spring like even though that's the way those plants looked all winter. So, no more snow images from me until next winter. I do promise to be posting photos from the same area this summer when you will find it looks quite different. Especially the lake which, no matter what time of day, will probably be full of boats
